What brought you to SMA?
I was in a really bad head space and a lot of crap was going on in my life and I was looking for a gym to get fit again and lose those extra kilos that I’d put on from all the shenanigans and neglecting my health. But I didn’t want your typical generic gym or CrossFit gym. The creepy black signs that had “gym opening soon” had caught my curiosity.
What have been the biggest challenges you’ve overcome?
Accepting praise! Josh has been a dream teaching me how to accept love and love myself. That it’s ok to be myself and not be so serious all the time, still a long way to go but definitely a lot better than I once was.
What are the biggest changes you’ve noticed?
Being able to go to the gym on my own on site and not care that I’m the only girl in the weights room! Not being so stressed about everything all the time.
What do you like most about coming to SMA?
I can go on for ages on this one but I’m sure every member can agree that the atmosphere at SMA is top notch everyone is so caring and willing to help. From the moment you walk in you forget about the craziness in life that may be going on because you are welcomed with 100 smiles and hello’s!
The coaches are the best whether you want to just have a chat or help with anything they are always there.
Working with Josh has also been amazing not just from a fitness perspective but also from a mental state and being my life coach he’s helped me through some tough times and I couldn’t be more grateful to him and everyone at SMA.
